At WVROCKS, the administrative team is very small. Thus, we cannot prepare every course ourselves to be ready to go each semester. So, we designate a lead instructor each semester to complete a checklist we came up with to prepare their course for the term. For the checklist, we had written descriptions of how to complete each step. However, we noticed one term that many lead instructors were not completing it. We worried that the professors were struggling because they did not know how to do it. So, I had the thought of creating a video to give them a visual of how to do it.

I made this video with Camtasia. There are a lot of buttons in Blackboard so I had to make sure it was clear each action I took. I used different effects in the video editor to make the tasks stand out. After each step, I included a reason why that step is important so the instructors know why we are asking them to do it.
